One of the leading providers of molecular biological services in Europe, Eurofins Medigenomix GmbH, has launched a new version of its user friendly online ordering system E-SEQUENCE. It aims to enlarge company’s capacity and also reacts on growing needs on the sequencing market. The new version offers an advanced handling and new applications added on the basis of customer’s suggestions for improvement.

From now on Eurofins Medigenomix’ customers have the possibility to add individual requests straight to the order, which is to improve communication between customer and laboratory. Working teams benefit from the chance of combining their colleagues to groups within the system for a better project coordination. The new module developed for high throughput sequencing stands for a wide extension of ordering possibilities, because it allows placing orders in plate format. Certainly the company also improved menu navigation and the user interface.

By implementing customer’s needs consequently from the beginning of an order on, Eurofins Medigenomix further follows its philosophy of individual customer service.

As a matter of course data security was one of the most important requirements when realizing the project. Basis for the upgrade is a new server assuring a clear accelerated processing of large data and to prepare the company for the future in the field of data security and LIMS.

The new version of E-SEQUENCE also reacts on improved requirements as an effect of synergies, which has been achieved by the worldwide Eurofins Scientific sales network.
