Eurofins has reacted rapidly to the current pet food crisis by offering its customers an FDA-approved test for the presence of melamine through its network of labs in both Europe and the US. Several pet food manufacturers have already been forced to recall their products following the contamination with melamine of these products and their ingredients, notably wheat gluten and rice protein concentrate.
